No email receipt of online submission

I have uploaded my assignment online. I followed the instructions very carefully. On the left hand side under submission it says my assignment has been submitted but I have no email to confirm this.

Should I be worried that it has not been submitted correctly?

Hi Amie,

First of all apologies for the late response. No excuses, we missed your post.

I have checked with IT Services and there was a technical problem on Monday and Tuesday this week which prevented confirmation emails being sent out.  It also preented me getting an email about your post to this Help Forum.

From what you say in your message it appears that you successfully submitted.

I've checked on ZZ601 and you successully uploaded an assignment onTuesday, 18 December 2012, 08:35 PM.  If there's another submission on a different module and you want me to double check for you, please let me have the module code.

I guess you didn't really mean to reply to Amie but meant to post a new message. Anyway, the answer is that no one knows the answer to your question. What module are you talking about?  But before you repost, have a look in the Assignment Brief on the Moodle page for the module. If it doesn't say in there, please email your tutor.
