Yes the original assignment is now no longer available and is hidden. Only the Late Assignment is now visible for students who want to submit after the deadline.
I could not check the status of your submission as we have anonymous marking switched on on this assignment, which means tutors (myself included) cannot see the names of the students.
But it sounds like you submitted fine.
